FallFest & The Rest of the Fall Quarter...
Monday, October 12, 2009 - Alex Bramwell
So as you probably read in The Guardian,
FallFest was a big hit - drawing out over 6,300 attendees. It was a blast, and I don't care what they said - Holy F**k
was a highlight. A very fun & talented group, indeed. But it was Anberlin
who got the crowd ready to rock, and The Game
delivered as expected. Thanks to all of you who made it out & supported the event. Warren Field has a lot of opportunity on campus for more concerts & I hope/believe that FallFest definitely will not be the only event that will be happening there in the future. Hopefully we'll get some good photos up on the site shortly from Friday.
Anywho - while FallFest is the largest event of the quarter, there's still plenty more coming up shortly. We have two
Bear Gardens (on October 16th & November 20th), a few upcoming shows at The Loft such as
YACHT,
Eligh & Scarub of Living Legends, and of course an exciting night at Porter's Pub with
Justin Nozuka.
As always, we're here to hear your recommendations. Please send all comments & questions to my e-mail and feel free to come out to our meetings - more info on both in the "About" section above. Thanks.
