Brian Carver and Lucy Wehrly formed Christmas Island in August 2007. Brian plays guitar and sings and Lucy plays drums. Guitarist/keyboardist Craig Oliver joined in mid-2008. A full length LP entitled "Blackout Summer" on In the Red Records is forthcoming, as well as releases on Woodsist, Sacred Bones and Captured Tracks. Christmas Island plays pop music.
